System Restore...

I have some questions for you. But first....

It seems that Monday night, while I was out of town, my daughter took it upon herself to download a bunch of shit from cartoonnetwork.com or some similar place. For the past two days my computer has been bombarded with pop ups. I went to the un-install place on here and found a few things I didn't recognize and promptly began to un-install them. As I would click through the steps it would ask me such questions as, "Are you sure you don't want to make up to $1000 a week clicking on ads?" or "If you click 'next' you will miss out on a nice second income." Even my blog was affected. Some of you may have noticed today that certain words were suddenly highlighted and hyper linked. Like, for example, the word pharmacy in the post about my ex wife. If you were to hover your cursor over said word you would get a message about buying prescription drugs online. This was just one of many examples. But alas, un-installing didn't work completely. I was left to have to do a system restore. I restored my computer back to last Monday. So I, in a way, took a cyber trip back in time. This left me thinking, as I sometimes on occasion will do....What would it be like if you could "system restore" your body and mind? You know, you go back to a certain point in time (you choose the date, just like with the computer) but you still have memories of things from the future (like how you keep current saved e-mails or friends list info, downloads, etc when you system restore.)

So my questions to you, my friends, are......At what point would you return to in your past, and why? What would you do differently if you could go back?
